About Preserved Forever

Hi! My name is Lizzy, and im a sentimental fool! I’m a firm believer that life is about people who you love and love you, about places and experiences that matter and define your outlook and that memories are to be cherished and treasured. Even growing up, I was always the one to collect ‘that’ shell or pebble from my favourite beach, to press that beautiful rose from my mum’s Garden, or keep my first ever prom flower.

I love nature and creation and always had a fascination with flowers. The colours, the smell, shapes and how they just make someone smile when given as a gift, or how they light up a room, never ceases to amaze me. Therefore learning that I could preserve some part of that magic blew my mind!

I studied art and design at college and went into 3D design as HND. A lot of my projects was 3D and usually based on organic matter or inspired by nature. After college, I trained in flower preservation and have now been in this unique and creative industry for over 10 years. I usually preserve about 400 bouquets a year and love dealing with unusual requests, or hearing the story behind why a flower was picked, or why this matters to someone. Its beautiful and romantic, individual and special. Even though flowers and nature is my first love, I wanted to give my customers opportunity to treasure their personal memories, whether that’s photos to be framed, memory boxes to be made or sports memorabilia to be kept secure and safe for years to come.
